Heinrich Neuhaus was not only a great pianist in his own right, but was also very much responsible for bringing Prokofiev together with one of his greatest interpreters of the last century, Sviatoslav Richter. Of most interest to Prokofiev fans on this site is a pdf download of an extract of Richter's essay on Prokofiev: the extract itself is more or less redundant now since the essay has been published complete in 'Sviatoslav Richter - Notebooks and Conversations' by Bruno Monsaingeon. But the download is still worth checking out as it also includes an interesting (though in idiosyncratic English) introduction by Valery Voskovoinikov and Lorenzo Seno, and useful explanatory footnotes for Richter's entire essay which - as far as I know - have not been published elsewhere. The site also has pictures of Prokofiev and his family, plenty of pictures of Neuhaus, and essays written in memory of Richter in the wake of his death in 1997.
