Nadezhda Lobacheva is the author of “Povest’ o nastoiashchem cheloveke” S. S. Prokof’eva: 60 let spustia (2008), a historical and analytical study of Prokofiev’s final completed opera. She is completing a doctorate on Prokofiev’s unfinished operas at the Moscow Conservatory. She is also involved in a research project chronicling the life and works of Shostakovich.
Natalia Savkina lectures in the Department of Music History and Theory at the Moscow Conservatory. She has written extensively on Prokofiev and is the author of a monograph which has been translated in various languages.
Christina K. Guillaumier lectures at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where she completed her dissertation on Prokofiev’s earliest scores for piano and stage. She is at present at work on a monograph on Prokofiev’s operas.
Rita McAllister, a musicologist and composer, is Chair in Research at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. She has published and broadcast extensively on Prokofiev and other Russian composers.
Stefan Van Puymbroeck, a prize-winning Belgian composer, teaches at the Royal Flemish Conservatory in Antwerp, where is also completing a doctorate on Prokofiev fs Maddalena.
Kevin Bartig is Assistant Professor of Music at Michigan State University, currently writing a book on Prokofiev's film scores. He is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship. He joins the editorial team as regular reviewer.
