23 MAY 2012

Please note the following changes at the Serge Prokofiev Archive over the coming year while the Archivist, Fiona McKnight, is on maternity leave (from 15 June).

The Prokofiev Foundation has made the following arrangements:

The Archive will be staffed by Lesley Ruthven, who has worked part-time in the Archive for over two years. She will divide her time between her job in the Library at Goldsmiths, and the Prokofiev Archive, and will be available for Prokofiev Archive enquiries and visitors:

Monday 09:00 - 12:00

Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00

Friday 09:00 - 17:00

For visitors planning an extended research trip over several days, the Special Collections reading room at Goldsmiths is open Monday-Friday, and following an initial appointment with Lesley to discuss your requirements, the Special Collections staff
can provide materials and supervision.

Lesley will be the point of contact for any enquiries related to the Prokofiev Archive, Three Oranges journal and the Prokofiev Foundation. She will deal with the majority of these directly, and will pass on enquiries to relevant experts where necessary. Professor Simon Morrison will also be at the Archive for two periods over this summer to assist with the transition, and is happy to receive enquiries .
